The Yasmak Sultan is a great location for visiting most of the main attractions in Istanbul, all are within easy walking distance, but there is also the tram 100yds down the road if you want to venture further afield. There are restaurants a plenty in the area too. The staff were all very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel had a very relaxed home from home feel to it and the Olive Restaurant, with its roof top views of the city was wonderful. Great way to start the morning with the buffet breakfast, or to sit in the bar for sundowners. The one evening we stayed in for dinner at the hotel was a treat ,a beautifully presented and tasty meal. The spa looked good but we did not have time to try it out. I will be staying there again if we are lucky enough to return to the fabulous Istanbul.

Hotel Yasmak Sultan is very accessable to major highlights in the old city of Istanbul. The guest relations officer Ozlem is a wonderful assett to the hotel, giving valuable information regarding the area and the sights to see and how to get there. The room was clean and well fitted out and the breakfast was more than ample with a variety of Turkish food and westernised food served in the rooftop restaurant. Overall the hotel was an A+++.

Staff very helpful. Mrs. Ozlem Kadayifci, Guest relations officer, was particularly helpful in finding phone numbers for the Canadian Consulate, and the Embassy in Ankara. Hotel operates efficiently and appears well managed.
Room a little small.

The great price-quality ratio - it's 100 per cent truth about this hotel! You won't find super-modern design or freshly-made furniture in your room (but you don't need them if you walk through Istanbul from morning till night). But the friendly personnel and gorgeous location, together with the hotel's splendid roof-top restaurant, compensate everything! We recommend visiting the swimming pool every evening to relax after the hard day. This hotel has no drawbacks! We enjoyed every minute of staying there
A kitchenette's presence in rooms wouldn't spoil the general impression of the hotel))))))

The central location in the old town was perfect. Add to that the very helpful and friendly staff at a reasonable price and you have the makings of a great trip.

Its location is perfect for sightseeing, the hotel is clean and comfortable, though even the double room is quite small.
